Read with your kids

Hi guys, I wish I could have more time but a short and sweet post it is for today. My message to you- read with your kids. I see how much you guys love it and I love it too. If you don't feel like reading, listen with your kids. There are so many great books on CD now - we (that is, one of you guys and myself) are currently listening to the Frog Princess, adorable. We are sort of doing this series out of order but its fun and its QT (quality time) - we are having a good time while being together - the best kind of time there is. Love you all!

It Has Been a LONG Time

Well, as I knew would happen, I fell off the bandwagon guys! I'm going to try to get back on. To list my excuses would be pointless - you guys mostly, and work stuff I started, and loads of little viruses and other stuff which get in the way of things. Life is moving along swiftly here - the baby is standing on his own and so cute we really adore his antics. He makes funny smiling faces and just cut teeth #3,4, and 5 all at once! One really nice thing that just happened was one of you did a music project, my wonderful piano player, and did a duet with your 16 year old cousin who plays violin. I wasn't at the actual thing (since you didn't want me to be) but I heard you practice here and thoroughly enjoyed the concert! We have another starting art lessons, and let me tell you - I think you to be an amazing artist already and am so excited you have this opportunity to perfect your natural talent. I love when people can shine in so many different ways. I think school is something we all have to do, and should do well, but when we can get into something outside of school and really work at it and perfect it and let it be an outlet and our leisure, there is nothing more amazing and nurturing for us. I hope you can utilize these different outlets at all points in your lives and never let go of the ability to step out of the regular, every day life and make time for things which nurture the mind and soul as much as daily life routines nurture your real-life stuff. Hope that makes sense. Ok, I wish I had more time now but it isn't to be - so I will leave you to ponder this and make more time soon I hope.
